If they do, then it'll just fail to run once security functionality is mandatory/always-on. I'm not as clear on the current status of the features/functionality. This may actually be the case with the most recent release anyway. If they don't rip out the HVCI / MBEC emulation code, you'll see a 15-30% performance drop at a minimum. Microsoft has been a bit cagey about what they'll do in the future with unsupported devices running Win 11. Should I go for Windows 10 or Windows 11? But I reckon Windows 10 will be more stable and work better. However, I'd still prefer Windows 11 beacuse of certain features like window snapping, dark mode in Task Manager, new Media Player, dark mode in Notepad and beacuse there's only two years of support left for Windows 10.
